Akash missile system key in repelling Pakistani drone attacks along LoC: Officials

The Indian Army and Air Force effectively utilized the indigenously developed Akash air defense system to thwart multiple Pakistani drone attacks targeting Indian assets along the western border and Line of Control (LoC) during the intervening night of May 8 and May 9. The successful repulsion included neutralizing a Pakistani Air Defence system in Lahore.
