Air pollution: Supreme Court seeks Centre’s plan to shift coal-based units out of Delhi-NCR
The Supreme Court has ordered ministries to develop a plan for relocating coal-based industries from the Delhi-National Capital Region. Neighboring states will seek public input on phasing out these industries. The court also mandated an examination of alternative fuel sources.
