Air Marshal Amar Preet Singh appointed next Indian Air Force chief

The Indian government has appointed Air Marshal Amar Preet Singh as the next Chief of the Air Staff, effective September 30, 2024. Singh, currently the Vice Chief of the Air Staff, will succeed Air Chief Marshal Vivek Ram Chaudhari. With nearly 40 years of service and over 5,000 flying hours, Singh brings extensive experience to his new role.
