Ahmedabad to host Olympics in 2036? India nominates the Gujarat city during IOC visit

India has officially nominated Ahmedabad as its candidate city to host a future Olympic Games, signaling a significant step towards bidding for the 2036 Summer Olympics. A delegation comprising representatives from the Union Sports Ministry, Gujarat government, and the Indian Olympic Association met with International Olympic Committee officials in Lausanne.
