Ahead of assembly polls, Bihar government decides to set up halls for poor women's wedding, hike pension
Nitish Kumar's government will construct marriage halls in all panchayats to help poor women. Social security pensions are increased from Rs 400 to Rs 1,100 monthly. Meal prices at canteens run by self-help groups are reduced to Rs 20. The government will disburse Rs 2 lakh to poor women entrepreneurs.
