After S&P, Japan's R&I upgrades India's sovereign rating to BBB+

Rating and Investment Information, Inc. has upgraded India's rating. The upgrade reflects India's strong domestic demand. It also shows fiscal discipline and improved external stability. Other agencies like S&P and Morningstar DBRS also upgraded India earlier. India's large economy is expected to grow steadily. The Reserve Bank of India projects GDP growth at 6.5% for FY2025.
