After influx of seized dogs, Genesee County Animal Control to hold adoption event

GENESEE COUNTY, MI — The Genesee County Animal Control Department hopes to add room at its shelter with an emergency pop-up adoption event this weekend. The county announced the event, which gives residents the chance to adopt a dog for $10, will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 21, at the shelter, located at 4351 W.
