Additional metro trips, monitoring committee, and more; Delhi unveils plan to tackle rising air pollution

Delhi Minister for Environment Gopal Rai announced measures to combat rising air pollution, including deploying 1,800 more traffic personnel and increasing Delhi Metro trips by 40 daily. Inspections at construction sites will be intensified, and the frequency of DTC buses will rise to promote public transport use. A coordination committee will monitor hotspots daily.
