ADB asks Pakistan to adopt Indian plan on education

The Asian Development Bank has suggested Pakistan adopt India's ULLAS scheme to improve its education system. The recommendation follows Pakistan's request for financial support to educate out-of-school children. ULLAS, launched by India in July last year, aims to provide foundational literacy and essential life skills. ADB President Masatsugu Asakawa is scheduled to visit Pakistan soon.
