Colorado State University's forecast update has warned of above-normal hurricane activity this season. The Colorado State University team is predicting 17 named storms and nine hurricanes during the 2025 Atlantic hurricane season, which began on June 1 and runs through Nov. 30. Americans have been warned and asked to prepare themselves as a new hurricane forecast has been issued.
