6.5 crore rural families involved in dairying need to be brought under cooperative sector: Amit Shah

Union minister Amit Shah highlighted that 6.5 crore rural families in milk production are outside the cooperative sector and face exploitation. He urged the NDDB to ensure fair pricing for these families. Only 1.5 crore families are part of the cooperative sector. The event also marked the Diamond Jubilee Year of NDDB and the birth anniversary of AMUL founder Tribhuvandas Patel.
