41 Spix’s Macaws reintroduced to Brazil: An initiative by ACTP and Anant Ambani’s Vantara

The Spixs macaw, once thought extinct in the wild, is being successfully reintroduced in Brazils Caatinga biome. In collaboration with ACTP, 41 birds from a German breeding facility have been transported to Bahia, Brazil, for integration into ongoing reintroduction and breeding programmes, with vital support from Anant Ambani's Vantara.
