357 Maoists killed in year-long operations, says Chhattisgarh police

Chhattisgarh police reported significant losses for CPI (Maoist) in 2024-25. Security forces neutralised 357 Maoist cadres, including key leaders. The Dandakaranya Special Zonal Committee faced the most damage. A separate anti-Naxal operation in Jharkhand resulted in the death of a Maoist leader and a CRPF jawan. The operation took place in the Birhordera forest. Search operations are underway.
