3 maoists killed in encounter with security forces

Security forces in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district killed three Maoists during an anti-Naxalite operation in Indravati National Park. The operation is part of efforts to eradicate Maoism by March 2026. Twelve Naxalites have been killed this year, with significant encounters in Narayanpur, Sukma, and Gariaband. Maoist activities continue to challenge security forces in the region.
