2400 CAPF deployment in two-phase Bengal polls, 480 companies already in the state

West Bengal is set for a massive Central Armed Police Force deployment for its upcoming assembly elections. A record 2400 companies will be on duty. Many forces have already arrived for area domination and confidence building. Additional troops will arrive in phases until April 17. These forces will secure polling stations, EVMs, and strong rooms.
