1992-batch IAS officer Rajeev Verma appointed chief secretary of Delhi

Senior IAS officer Rajeev Verma will become Delhi's new chief secretary. He will replace incumbent Dharmendra, who is set to superannuate on September 30. Verma, from the 1992 batch AGMUT cadre, will transfer from Chandigarh. His appointment will take effect from October 1, 2025, or his joining date, whichever is later. This marks a significant administrative change for Delhi.
