12 Naxalites killed in encounter with security forces in Chhattisgarh's Gariaband

At least 12 Naxalites were killed in a fresh exchange of fire with security forces in Chhattisgarh's Gariaband district on Monday night and early Tuesday morning. A joint team, comprising DRG, CRPF, CoBRA, and SOG, conducted the operation based on intelligence about Maoists' presence in the Kularighat reserve forest.
