’100% not safe’: Olympian fears for Iran’s women’s soccer team

Iranian-born judoka Saeid Mollaei tells CNN’s Amanda Davies he fears for Iran’s women’s soccer team after they declined to sing the national anthem at the Asian Cup. Seven team members were granted visas in Australia, but five have since withdrawn their asylum bids and left. Mollaei defected in 2019 after a dispute with Iranian officials.
