Among all the Cabinets formed in Tamil Nadu so far, the one led by Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay features the highest number of Ministers from the Scheduled Caste (SC) community with eight persons getting ministerial berths. We look back at the repesentation of the SC community in TN governments going back to 1937, when the region was known as Madras Presidency.
