Megan was ‘loved beyond words’, her family said (Picture: Family Handout) Tributes have poured in for a teenage girl who died when her Fiat 500 crashed into a tree in Bedfordshire. Megan Durham, 18, has been named as the victim of the September 13 crash in Sheep Lane, Woburn. Bedfordshire Police said: ‘Despite the best efforts of emergency services, Megan died after the Fiat 500 she was driving left the carriageway and collided with a tree in Sheep Lane.’ Megan’s family issued a tribute, saying she was ‘loved beyond words by family members and friends’. ‘Megan will be deeply missed by all who knew her,’ her family added. Police said: ‘Officers from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Roads Policing Unit are continuing their investigation and are preparing a file for the coroner. ‘Anyone who witnessed Megan’s vehicle prior to the collision, or who has any information that may assist the investigation, is asked to report online.’ A GoFundMe page has been set up by a coworker of Megan’s mum, reading: ‘My name is Jane and I am fundraising for my dear friend and colleague Charlotte Durham who has been a dedicated registered nurse for over 30 years. ‘On the 13th September 2026, Charlotte’s 18-year-old daughter Megan died in a road traffic accident. ‘This has left Charlotte, her husband Steve and their daughters Chloe and Grace completely devastated.’ The page has raised almost £10,000 to help fund a funeral for Megan and aide the family in coming months.
