Yogi Adityanath launches first phase of Census-2027 in Uttar Pradesh
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has initiated the first phase of Census-2027. This Houselisting and Housing Census will gather detailed information on homes and assets. The public can self-enumerate digitally from May 7-21, 2026. Census personnel will then conduct door-to-door surveys. Caste enumeration is included this time. Forest villages are also part of the census for the first time.
