West Bengal hands over 32 acres to BSF for Bangladesh border fencing
The West Bengal government has transferred over 31 acres to the Border Security Force for fencing along the India-Bangladesh border. This move addresses a long-standing issue. Land has also been approved for permanent border outposts in several districts. Additionally, 20 acres in Jalpaiguri will be transferred to the forest department for a railway project.
