West Bengal Cabinet approves 7th Pay Commission, Rs 3000 for women & other welfare schemes
The West Bengal cabinet has approved the 7th Pay Commission for state government employees. A new scheme, Annapurna Bhandar, will provide Rs 3,000 monthly to women. Women already receiving Lakshmir Bhandar will be automatically included. New applicants can apply soon. Additionally, all women will receive free travel on state buses starting June 1.
