US to livestream Army execution of Fort Hood shooter Nidal Hasan, Pentagon official says
The US military will execute Nidal Hasan by firing squad at Fort Hood. Hasan, responsible for the 2009 Fort Hood shooting, will be the first to face this execution method since 1945. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced that the execution will be made public and livestreamed. This decision underscores the seriousness of the consequences for such actions in the military.
