Two chief advisors to outgoing Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee resign
Following the change in West Bengal's leadership, two former chief secretaries, Alapan Bandyopadhyay and H K Dwivedi, have resigned as chief advisors to the outgoing Chief Minister. Eminent economist Abhirup Sarkar also stepped down from his positions. These resignations come after the BJP's significant victory, ending the TMC's long tenure.
