Twisha Sharma dowry death case: SC takes suo motu cognisance; hearing by CJI-led bench likely on Monday
The Supreme Court has taken suo motu cognisance of the Twisha Sharma death case. Her husband, Samarth Singh, has been arrested. He is the son of a retired district judge. Police are seeking his custodial remand for questioning. A Bhopal court has remanded him in police custody for seven days.
