Former President Donald Trump is proposing to convert his private golf club in West Palm Beach into a prestigious federal retreat, potentially serving as an alternative to the traditional Camp David presidential compound. Under this initiative, a portion of the property would be transferred to government ownership while maintaining operational golf facilities for private use. The proposal represents a unique public-private partnership model for presidential recreational infrastructure.
