A day earlier, veteran producer T P Aggarwal approached the Bombay Civil Court in Dindoshi with a petition against FWICE and IMPPA (Indian Motion Picture Producers' Association). He argued that neither individuals nor industry bodies have the legal authority to impose bans or issue non-cooperation directives against film industry members.
