SMPP, KNDS forge India partnership for next-generation loitering munitions
Indian defence firm SMPP and European giant KNDS have teamed up to manufacture advanced loitering munitions in India. This collaboration aims to boost India's defence production under the Make in India initiative. The partnership will initially supply the Indian Army with precision strike systems. It includes technology transfer and indigenous manufacturing, strengthening India's defence capabilities and reducing import reliance.
