Portland architect who designed state’s largest tower dies at 88
George Crandall, the architect largely responsible for Portland’s iconic Big Pink skyscraper, died Tuesday. He was 88. Crandall died of cancer at The Watermark at the Pearl retirement community in Portland, his daughter said.
