Paris's new mayor pledges to prevent sexual violence in schools
Claims of sexual abuse in schools were a central issue in the campaign during last month's Paris mayoral election. Emmanuel Grégoire said that the city had suspended 31 school monitors on suspicion of sexual violence since the beginning of 2026.
