Not mandatory for ISL clubs to sign Overseas Citizen of India players: All India Football Federation
The All India Football Federation has clarified OCI player signings are optional. Clubs are encouraged but not mandated to enlist Overseas Citizen of India players. The federation also stated that an Indian striker requirement is now optional. This decision follows discussions with Indian Super League teams regarding league operations. AIFF will implement government directives on OCI players when received.
