A recent analysis of the BSE universe shows that several companies have consistently maintained healthy profit margins, reflecting strong operational efficiency and supporting sustainable growth. Such consistency can also strengthen investor confidence in these firms. Our study identified 207 companies with a market capitalisation of more than Rs 3,000 crore that maintained a profit margin above 10% for eight consecutive quarters, through the quarter ended June 2026. The selection criteria included companies with net sales of more than Rs 100 crore in each of the last eight quarters, while banking and financial stocks were excluded.In terms of stock performance, 12 stocks from this list delivered impressive gains of between 100% and 396% over the past two years, more than doubling investors’ wealth in each case.
