Mamata Banerjee moves Calcutta HC against Bhabanipur poll result
Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee has filed an election petition in the Calcutta High Court. She is challenging the assembly poll result for the Bhabanipur constituency. Banerjee lost the Bhabanipur seat to BJP's Suvendu Adhikari. She visited the high court registry to affirm the petition. The counting of votes for the West Bengal assembly elections was held on May 4.
