Delhi Police has formally requested the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation to temporarily shut down 57 metro stations in anticipation of a significant protest march organized by the Confederation of All India Traders at Jantar Mantar on October 10th. This security measure aims to manage crowd control and ensure public safety during the demonstration. The closure represents one of the largest transit disruptions in recent memory, affecting commuters across multiple metro lines and requiring alternative transportation arrangements throughout the national capital.
