Christopher Nolan has built his entire career on the belief that the real world is more cinematic than anything a screen can generate, and 'The Odyssey' takes that philosophy further than any film he has made before. Shooting across six countries with large-format theatrical cameras and no green screens, Nolan took Homer's ancient epic and found its landscapes alive and waiting in the real world.
