India's digitalisation reforms improved productivity in MSMEs: IMF paper
A working paper by the International Monetary Fund said digitalisation of public administration in India has boosted productivity among MSMEs, especially in states that adopted more reforms. The study found that simplified digital systems reduced compliance costs, improved transparency and helped small firms grow faster, while also narrowing productivity gaps.
