India weighs action against HAL for delayed Tejas fighter deliveries
In light of ongoing delays in the delivery of Tejas Mk1A fighter jets, the Defence Ministry is contemplating penalties for Hindustan Aeronautics Limited. To date, the Indian Air Force has yet to receive a single Tejas Mk1A, despite HAL having procured engines and structural elements. The Ministry insists on HAL fulfilling its obligation to deliver all 180 ordered aircraft.
