India likely to see weaker monsoon in 2026, forecasts Skymet
Skymet has forecast below-normal monsoon rainfall for India in 2026 at 94% of the long-period average, citing the impact of El Niño on the latter half of the June–September season. The IMD is expected to release its official forecast next week.
