I had hantavirus. This is what it’s like
It was when I went to take a shower and nearly passed out that I knew I was seriously sick. In October 2020 I had spent several days ill with weird, flu-like symptoms after a hiking trip in my home state of Colorado, experiencing shortness of breath, high fever, muscle pain, headaches, nausea, and diarrhoea.
