Gujarat govt to rebuild Rs 105 crore hostel damaged in AI-171 crash; victims' kin seek memorial at site
A medical college hostel complex destroyed in last year's Air India AI-171 plane crash in Ahmedabad will be rebuilt. The Gujarat government announced plans for a new ultra-modern hostel facility at the site. This comes as families of some victims requested the location be preserved as a memorial.
