Fresh tension in Manipur after houses torched
Four abandoned houses were set on fire by unidentified individuals in Kanto Sabal. Local residents alleged the arson occurred despite the presence of security personnel. The Manipur Police stated a mob was prevented from advancing towards the area. An attempt to set fire to abandoned houses was swiftly contained by security forces. The Chief Minister assured that justice would be ensured in a separate abduction case.
