FMR Deputy to Jack Smith now running for House: If elected, I’d impeach Trump
The former deputy to Special Counsel Jack Smith, J.P. Cooney, who was the lead prosecutor in both criminal indictments against President Trump, is now running as a Democrat in Virginia’s newly drawn congressional district. He tells OutFront if he’s elected, he would vote to impeach Trump.
