A driver and his passenger fled through flames when their car suddenly erupted into flames at a petrol pump. CCTV footage shows the silver sedan pulling up beside a fuel pump near the Bursa-Istanbul highway in Bursa Province, Turkey on July 19. Moments after the fuel nozzle is inserted into the vehicle, flames suddenly burst from beneath the four-wheeler, engulfing it in a massive blaze. The driver and his front-seat passenger immediately open the doors and scramble to escape as the fire rapidly spreads around the vehicle. Neither the driver nor his passenger was injured, although the vehicle was extensively damaged. The incident remains under investigation.
