Delhi Police arms frontline personnel with bodycams amid protest-related allegations
Delhi Police is implementing the use of body-worn cameras for frontline officers managing protests in New Delhi. This initiative aims to document interactions between police personnel and protesters during demonstrations. The recordings will serve as evidence in cases of alleged misconduct by officers or protesters. Following complaints of misconduct by police during a recent protest, investigations are underway.
