Delhi, Himachal, Bihar among states on IMD's heavy rain watch, what travellers need to know
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast an active spell of the southwest monsoon over large parts of the country over the coming week, warning of heavy to very heavy rainfall across several northern, eastern and northeastern states. The weather agency has also issued a flash flood outlook for parts of Uttarakhand, where persistent rainfall could trigger localized flooding and surface runoff in vulnerable areas.
