Daughter-in-law cannot continue occupying sister-in-law's property after husband's licence ends: Delhi High Court
The Delhi High Court has held that a daughter-in-law cannot claim a right to continue occupying property exclusively owned by her sister-in-law once the husband's permissive occupation of the premises comes to an end. The Court observed that matrimonial disputes between spouses cannot become a burden upon a sister-in-law who had merely permitted the couple to reside in her property out of goodwill.
