The CINTAA (Cine and Television Artistes’ Association) dispute has escalated further, with the two factions continuing to contest the legitimacy and functioning of the association’s Executive Committee. Days after CINTAA president Poonam Dhillon responded to allegations made by former general secretary Upasana Singh and other members who resigned from the EC, the Upasana-led faction held a press conference, reiterating its demand for a fresh election and questioning the existing committee’s authority to continue functioning.
