Bengaluru's new Sampige Road subway to benefit daily commuters: Underground passage set to replace dangero
Bengaluru is set to build a Rs 5.5 crore pedestrian subway connecting Swatantra Palya with Sampige Road Metro station, giving thousands of commuters a safer alternative to crossing active railway tracks. The project, funded by South Western Railway, is expected to be completed by January 2027 and improve connectivity across nearby neighbourhoods.
