Bengal plans dolphin parks, Ganga Aarti on Hooghly under Namami Gange push
West Bengal is set to establish two dolphin parks, including one in Contai. The state will also undertake extensive cleaning of the Hooghly river, building five Sewage Treatment Plants under the Namami Gange scheme. Union Minister C.R. Paatil met with state officials to discuss water conservation and the Jal Jeevan Mission, emphasizing the need for future water security.
